I have experience in working with children who have a variety of communication needs associated with:
Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Inconsistent or consistent phonological disorder
Phonological delay
Repaired cleft palate
Developmental Language Disorder
Language Disorder associated with biomedical conditions
Selective Mutism
Moderate learning disabilities
Down Syndrome
Neurodivergent profiles including Autism, dyslexia, ADHD

Whilst speech sound is a special interest, I enjoy working with children with a range of different communication needs.
Children need to be able to express themselves and be understood in order to access social and educational opportunities.
Children who have speech difficulties find it difficult using the right sounds and movements to express themselves clearly.
